The Physio Company at Heath Lodge provides a high quality and prompt treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal, spinal and neurological problems.
Our physiotherapists have a wealth of knowledge and experience, including The Olympic Federation, Moseley RUFC, classical ballet, elite gymnastics and ice-skating.  They are all HPC registered as well as being registered with all the major private health care providers e.g.  BUPA, AXA.
We offer over 80 years experience and use predominantly hands on treatment techniques such as soft tissue and spinal mobilisations, deep soft tissue massage,  acupuncture, post-operative rehabilitation programmes for all surgical conditions e.g. hip and knee replacements etc, acute and chronic sports injury treatment, including video running and  gait analysis; neurological treatment of strokes and head injuries and ergonomic work assessments.
Most problems, no matter how trivial they seem, can be helped by early assessment and  diagnosis.  We provide each patient with all the information on their problem so they understand its exact nature, cause and the recommended treatment and rehabilitation to get the best results.


 Why Physio?
 

Physiotherapists focus on a broad approach to problems using therapeutic soft tissue mobilisations in combination with different forms of manipulation. This can include soft tissue massage, joint manipulations, electrotherapy including ultrasound,  exercise programmes, postural correction and post-operative rehabilitation programmes.
We hope to give resolution of problems with a short course of hands-on treatment and educating the patient into the cause of their problem and further self-management.
We are able to treat a wide variety of conditions including low back pain, whiplash injuries, sports injuries, post-operative regimes, headaches and neurological conditions including strokes and head injuries.
We are also able to offer videoed biomechanical assessments for gait analysis, excellent for keen runners who develop persistent injuries.


 How to be referred?

Patients can book themselves in directly for treatment without any referral required.  Patients can also continue their post operative rehabilitation with us at Heath Lodge providing a more convenient local location and we have close links with most consultants locally.  If you are unsure whether Physiotherapy is the right course of action for you then one of our Physio’s will be more than happy to talk to you first, just call the number below.
