Payment
If you are funding the scan personally, you will be asked to pay when you attend for your scan. The cost will usually be as quoted during the booking procedure. Occasionally, during the course of the examination, extra scans may be required for clinical reasons: this may incur an additional charge, but we will discuss this with you before proceeding.Occasionally, some patients may need an X-ray of their eyes before they can have an MR scan. We can arrange this in advance, but additional time will be required. These X-rays will be chargeable separately.
Payments are accepted by cash, debit cards or cheques, made payable to CMC Imaging Ltd. We take all major credit cards, with the exception of American Express, but these will incur a small administration fee. A receipt will be given for your personal records, but if you require an official receipt to reclaim part of your costs an additional £25 will be payable at the time of the scan.
An addition charge will be made for extra copies of either scan cd's or film images.
Please inform us before you leave if you would like a copy of your report to be sent to a third party.
